Addition Table

An addition table, also called a sum table, is a grid or chart that displays the sums or results obtained when adding two numbers together. It provides a convenient way to find the sum of any two numbers within a specific range.

Similar to a multiplication table, an addition table is arranged in a grid format. The numbers along the top and left side of the table represent the addends or the numbers being added together. The intersection of an addend from the top row and an addend from the left column gives the sum or the result of addition.

In this table, if you want to find the sum of, for example, 4 and 7, you can locate the number 4 on the left side and move horizontally to the column labeled 7. The value at their intersection, in this case, is 11, which is the result of adding 4 and 7 together.

Addition tables are useful for basic arithmetic calculations, educational purposes, and everyday life. They provide a reference for quickly determining sums without relying on mental calculations or using a calculator.
